Selena Gomez rocked several looks at the American Music Awards Sunday night and that includes several hairstyles. While the singer stunned everyone with long hair in her new music video for “Lose You To Love Me” she arrived at the AMAs Red Carpet wearing a Versace mini dress and a sleek-straight bob. Fans loved the new, shorter length that celebrity hairstylist Marissa Marino styled curled under and referred to as a “faux bob” most likely based upon the length of Selena’s hair. Selena opened the show and performed her new two singles “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now” and wore different outfits and wavy hair in each.

Selena Gomez shared a series of photos with her 162.2 million Instagram followers showing her AMAs Red Carpet look and the photos went viral and have more than 8 million likes and over 74,000 comments from fans who were thrilled that Selena has returned to the music scene after undergoing plenty of personal emotional turmoil and struggles in her life.

She is drawing praise across the board for her glamorous looks and many fans have told Selena they love the bob on her.

By the time Selena Gomez came out on stage to open the American Music Awards, she had underwent a clothing change and wore her hair in a wavy bob. Hairstylist Marissa Marino shared a video clip of Selena before she hit the stage and you could see a closeup of Selena’s eye makeup as well.

Celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo did Selena’s makeup and he also showcased two videos showing Selena modeling both looks. You’ll notice that not only did her hairstyle change for the performance but her makeup as well.

When Selena’s hair was styled in a straight bob, Hung did Selena’s eyes in shades of golden brown with a soft, brown lip color. Her eyebrows were perfectly arched  and the look was beautiful and perfect for the AMAs Red Carpet.

Hung used darker, bolder colors for Selena’s second look and the results were fabulous. Selena continued wearing the Roberto Coin diamond necklace for both looks, but in the second, Hung used matching glitter on her eyes that not only made them sparkle but complemented the necklace.

More than a year after his conviction for aggravated indecent assault, Bill Cosby has just given his first interview from prison. And, the 82-year-old award-winning comedian/producer/director was very candid about his life behind bars, while remaining defiant about the circumstances that led to his three-to-ten year prison sentence.

In a special phone call with the National Newspaper Publishers Associations’ BlackPressUSA.com over the weekend, Cosby spoke about his involvement with the Mann Up prison reform program, and how he has spent the majority of his time working with the large African-American inmate population (who he refers to as “residents”) at SCI Phoenix in Pennsylvania.

Cosby did the interview over the phone in 15-minute increments, since all phone calls from the facility have a 15-minute limit. Also on the call was Cosby’s spokesman Andrew Wyatt, who said that no topic was off limits.

Cosby says that he will most likely serve his entire sentence because one of the requirements for parole is to show remorse, and he maintains innocence and won’t say he’s guilty of something he didn’t do.

“I have eight years and nine months left,” Cosby said. “When I come up for parole, they’re not going to hear me say that I have remorse. I was there. I don’t care what group of people come along and talk about this when they weren’t there. They don’t know.”

Cosby called the jury at his trial “imposters,” and said that the entire thing was a set up. He also noted that a potential juror claimed to have overhead a seated juror say before the trial: “He’s guilty. We can all go home now.”

Cosby says the woman went it and came out smiling, which is something attorneys will tell you is called a payoff. The former Cosby Show star said he knows what they’ve done to his people, and ultimately this entire thing is political.

Cosby also worries about the African-American community, and he said that “they are under siege” because of drugs, which causes people to drive around and shoot into crowds.

“The insanity of what is the cause to the brain by all the drugs these people are dealing with. It’s exactly what I warned them about in 2004. They’ve thrown education out the window,” said Cosby. “They’ve thrown respect for the family out the window, and they’re blaming each other for what’s going on. There is post-traumatic stress syndrome, and there are also bad manners.”

Cosby also spoke about the Mann Up Association. He says that he’s not a part of the organization, but he considers it a privilege to speak to them and to get the opportunity to encourage inmates to be successful. The 82-year-old explained that he has a lot of time in his cell – which he calls his “penthouse” – to think about what he wants to say to his fellow inmates.

“I go into my penthouse and lay down and start to think about how I can relay a message and give it on Saturdays so that they would hear it and feel it,” Cosby said.

After years of trying to reach African-American men, Cosby now has a captive audience, and many of the inmates say that the comedian is making a huge difference. Bill Cosby says that if African-American men would put education first and respect others – and avoid the influx of drugs – that’s the way to start the revolution.

“He says to always remember to work as a team. We are all in this life together and Mr. Cosby is a political prisoner and he tells us that we’ve got to save our babies. We can’t be out there killing our children and our women,” said Anthony “Benny-Do” Sutton, a fellow inmate.

Cosby also believes that African-Americans should respect themselves and their history.

“I’m reaching them because they want to be reached. They’re in prison. I don’t forget a saying, one I quoted or read in a book, which says, ‘I don’t know the secret to success, but I do know the secret for failure.’ You can’t please everybody. I have a feeling that these people [Mann Up participants] really want somebody. They have rappers here who are strong and spirited people. They don’t just blame people; they say, ‘we’ve got to do it,’” stated Cosby.

Bill Cosby said that he’s a “privileged man,” and there is a history of Black political imprisonment in America, and now it’s repeating itself.

Kandi Burruss made her fans emotional when she shared a video on her IG account and YouTube channel as well. It’s a video from the hospital where all the family was present for the birth of her and Todd Tucker’s baby girl, Blaze Tucker. See the clip below.

Former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Caitlyn Jenner is currently competing on the hit UK show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, and during a recent episode she opened up to her campmates – EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and singer Nadine Coyle – about her transition journey.  Jenner revealed that she started to transition back in the 1980s, but she “chopped off” her breasts when she met Kris Jenner.

The 70-year-old explained that she started taking estrogen in the 1980s which caused her to grow breasts, and when she met Kris she “had a little 36/38B.” However, she decided to have her breasts removed because she was “so confused” in her life.

“And then the second time round 25 years later I was back on estrogen obviously and they came back some but not much. So I really had to have them done so it is kind of past the point of no return,” said Caitlyn.

When Jossa asked the Olympic gold medalist about surgeries, Caitlyn said she had a lot over many, many years, but near the end it went quickly because “you can do your face and your chest at the same time, which they did.”

Caitlyn also talked about coming out as a woman with her iconic Vanity Fair cover in 2015, and she called it a “big FU” to the millions and millions of critics who had said “terrible things” about her. And, when the cover came out “it just shocked them.” She went on to talk about how big the Vanity Fair moment was for her, as well as the impact it had on social media.

She said that transitioning and trying to make an impact on social media is “extraordinarily important.” And, as soon as the Vanity Fair cover came out, it broke the world record for the fastest to one million followers on Twitter, achieving the mark in just four hours and one minute.

Jossa expressed her admiration for Caitlyn, saying that she loves the fact that Caitlyn talks so openly and feels like she can trust her campmates.

“Like everybody goes through something… The amount of strength that woman has is amazing,” said Jossa.

In a previous episode, Caitlyn – who was once known as Bruce – explained that her kids still call her “dad” because she will always be their father. And, her grandchildren call her “Boom Boom” to avoid gendered titles.

She said of her children, “Bruce raised them and Caitlyn is enjoying their life with them.”
