Jay-Z’s former manager and business partner, Damon Dash, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon because of a tremendous amount of unpaid child support.
The 48-year-old music mogul was taken to the Bronx Family Court earlier this week since he failed to pay more than $400,000 for the support of his children to his ex-wife Rachel Roy and ex-girlfriend Cindy Morales.
According to Sheriff Joseph Fucito, the first warrant for Dash was issued back in April 2015, when he owed just $62,000 to Morales.
However, since he failed to pay the first time, a second warrant was created earlier this year for a contempt of court conviction that increased the sum by an additional $342,000.
So far, Dash had refused to pay up the child support because he had been insisting that he was broke and did not have the means to cover the required amount of money.
He had even filled out the needed documents to show that he did not have an income and explained that his only finances, at the time, were the $2 million that he won in court in a case against Lee Daniels.
He has finally paid the money, but he is also giving interviews where he blames the media for his drama.
Dash also added that he needed the money very much because he was about to become a father again, as his fiancée, Raquel Horn, was pregnant.
This is going to be the fifth child for the music mogul, who has two children from his marriage to Roy, girls Ava, who is 19, and 11-year-old Tallulah.
In addition, Dash has a 27-year-old son with his ex-girlfriend, Linda Williams, and another boy — Lucky, born in 2004.

Damon Dash Lashes In Wild Videos After He Is Arrested Because Of Unpaid Child Support
Tamron Hall spoke freely about the sensitive topic of her unexpected departure from NBC when the Texan journalist made an appearance.
The 49-year-old new mom explained what made her reach a conclusion to leave NBC in February 2017, when at the time she was informed that her time slot from 9 a.m. was to be taken by Megyn Kelly.
During the Mailchimp Presents Going Through It Live panel, Hall opened up and stated that what she went through with the network was painful, but she managed to move on eventually.
She also noted that setting somebody else on her time slot was not to be taken personally, but it was the necessity of the time since NBC wanted someone different.
When Hall suddenly found herself without her time slot, NBC proposed for her to take up a new position that was within the network, but the experienced journalist preferred to quit than stay.
Hall explained that she made this decision not because she did not know her value, but because others did not know what she was worth, so it was easy for her to understand what needed to be done.
She said: “They wanted something that wasn’t me. It wasn’t that I did not know my value. It’s that others did not know my value,” Hall said. “It was an easy decision because there was no other decision to make.”
The former host of the TODAY show added: “At some point in all of our lives, the goalpost keeps getting moved to the point it’s invisible. And I’m not into being Charlie Brown to anyone’s Lucy, so I wasn’t going to keep kicking that football.”
Without mentioning Kelly by name, Hall said: “I did not have a 69 million dollar contract.No shade to anybody who does. If you do, give me a loan! I feel fortunate, and I feel it’s a reminder to everyone to not give up on your dreams and to bet on yourself. I’m very grateful.”
Since her departure from NBC, Hall has returned to the small screen with a new syndicated daytime talk show Tamron Hall, to which she is both the producer and hostess.

Meanwhile, Hall’s replacement, Kelly, was not able to keep her position at NBC, as she received an enormous backlash for expressing doubt over whether it was racist to wear blackface as a part of a Halloween disguise, which led to her eventual exit from the network.

Tamar Braxton has decided to jump in the fight between Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and Loni Love, and not many people are surprised.
It all started on the most recent episode of The Real, where Loni decided to talk about Porsha’ fiancé, Dennis McKinley.
Loni was talking about the fact that Porsha decided to get back with Dennis after he confessed to cheating when she made this comment: “Let me tell you something, Porsha trying to get that reality show,”

The news first appeared on the brand’s official Instagram page, where a message was posted that introduced Normani in her new role along with a couple of photos of the 23-year-old wearing a red piece from the holiday 2019 campaign.
