According to a report from UPI.com, the legendary 1970s rock band, KISS, had to cancel their tour of the Australian continent due to the illness of the guitar player and co-vocalist of the band, Paul Stanley. On Facebook this Wednesday, TEG Live, as well as Promoters One World Entertainment, announced KISS wouldn’t be performing in Australia or in New Zealand.

The 67-year-old guitar player recently was diagnosed with the flu and is also now fighting a throat infection as well. For that reason, Paul needs to rest for approximately two weeks. Stanley said in his statement that “words cannot begin to convey our massive disappointment” regarding the cancelation of their shows.

Stanley concluded his statement by claiming he and the rest of the band wanted to see if it would eventually clear up in time for their performance, however, it didn’t, so they had to cancel. Earlier this month, the band postponed their opening concert in Perth, Australia, to Saturday, in the hopes that Stanley would get better.

However, the rest of the concerts were canceled. Both of the aforementioned entertainment companies said they were “devastated” that the band had to cancel their shows in Australia and New Zealand. “We send our best wishes to Paul for a speedy recovery,” their statement read.

Reportedly, the End Of The Road tour was supposed to be the band’s final world tour as a group. They started on the 31st of January in Vancouver, Canada, and were scheduled to close it out on the 3rd of October, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas.

This isn’t the only complication that the band has run into as of late. On the 1st of October, it was reported by Rachelle Lewis that Gene Simmons had to be hospitalized on account of a kidney stone procedure.

The publication, TMZ, revealed that Simmons was taken to the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in LA in the first week of October. Gene was dealing with complications from kidney stones, to the point where he had to go under the knife to have them removed.

An expansion of the Last Year universe is launching on Steam next month. While the PC game has developed a cult following, it didn’t really take off.

One of the primary problems faced by Last Year: The Nightmare was the decision to launch it on Discord. As everybody knows, Nitro has pulled the plug on the platform because nobody was using it. As a result, the game did not gain traction.

However, the developer is determined not to make the same mistake again. The expansion, After Dark, will be launching on Steam just a few days from now. Here is the official trailer of Last Year: Afterdark, so you can get a feel of the game. As you can see, the expansion includes a giant spider hiding in the shadows, killing your friends one by one.

In The Nightmare, a group of average teenagers was forced to play a game of life-or-death after a card game. They soon realize that the card is cursed, which pulled them inside the game. They will face a lot of monsters and serial killers–stuff that horror movies are made of.

They only have one way to survive: they must work together and fight back.

After Dark, you will play one of the six classmates inside the familiar world. Well, there is actually another person in this nightmarish town. But the last one is the puppet master–controlling the giant spider to kill you all.

You have to choose among the different classmates. They have all different abilities and skills, depending on the class you assign them to. There is Chad the jock, Nick the nerd and genius, Amber the prom queen, and Sam the outcast.

You will also meet the ever-optimistic Raj and Troy. Well, Troy watches a lot of horror movies, so being the only black guy, he doesn’t like his odds of surviving. But being a horror nut, he also knows how most stories unfold. It could be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on how you look at it. For instance, you know there are plot twists in horror movies. Can you trust Troy to anticipate the twist?

But the game reminds you that surviving will be anchored on how the classmates work with each other. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. The trick is how to harness each one’s strengths to minimize the weaknesses in others.

Last Year: Afterdark expansion can already be downloaded on Steam on Dec.10, 2019.

Ivanka Trump denied the ongoing statements that her father, Donald Trump, and family have taken advantage of their high positions in the White House to make money.

During an interview with The Associated Press (AP) that took place on Friday in Rabat, Morocco, she discussed the difference in the way her father has gathered his fortune and compared it to what most politicians do, giving a concrete example with Joe Biden, of the Democrats.

According to the first daughter, while most people get rich after leaving their political careers, President Trump did the opposite — he had already amassed his considerable wealth with real estate deals before he entered the race for the presidential seat, so he was not after money since he had so much already.

She continued by stating that Biden, who was a senator, and represented Delaware for more than 30 years and then proceeded to become the 47th vice president of the United States, became wealthy as a result of his lengthy political career.

Ivanka stated: “His wealth, and our wealth, collectively and independently, was created prior government service and prior to anyone in our lives having run for elected office. Most people do create their wealth post service. We created ours prior.”

Biden issued a quick response from New Hampshire, saying that Ivanka should look into his tax returns, where he laid everything out, and he had nothing to be ashamed of.

Also, Biden asked for the president’s tax returns to be released to the public.

The former vice president stated: “Tell her to look at my tax returns. I’ve laid it all out — everything,”

During the interview, Ivanka talked about the ongoing investigation against her father too. She stated that the House impeachment inquiry was just the latest of the many attempts to sabotage her family, which have begun when Mr. Trump became president in 2016.

She said: “The whistleblower shouldn’t be a substantive part of the conversation, the person did not have firsthand information.”

The first daughter made her three-day visit to Morocco to promote the role played by the US in the empowerment of women in less developed countries.

The president is betting that voters will ignore his shortcomings and give him a second term next year. Against Biden, early polls do consider him a slight underdog.
