Amy Schumer is now a mom and because of this relatively new role in her life, she feels like she’s changed a lot. While at the charity event for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, the stand-up comedian opened up about this – here’s what she had to say!

On the red carpet, which marked her first time at a big public event following the birth of her baby,  Amy stopped to chat with ET

The star is now the mother to a six month old son that she named Gene and she could barely stop gushing over him.

When asked about motherhood and hoe it’s been experiencing it for the first time, she raved that ‘Oh god, it’s the best. I’m so lucky.’

Furthermore, she revealed that these months have changed her ‘in a million ways!’

She joked that ‘I’m just nicer to my mom,’ before adding that ‘I did not know that I could love somebody that much no offense to my husband, who is here. But yeah, I think we are both shocked by the level of love that is possible.’

Speaking of her husband, Chris Fischer, the two got married back in February of last year and in May of 2019, their bundle of joy, baby Gene was born.

Aside from her seemingly amazing home life and experience as a new mom, Amy also talked a bit about how much she loves actress Charlize Theron, since the event was for her charity and she was also the one who hosted it.

‘She is amazing. I just love her and respect her so much, Amy gushed over the other celeb.

According to a report from Page Six, Selena Gomez’s weight has gone up and down over the years, and the singer recently revealed how being criticized in the public’s eye repeatedly impacted her sense of self-worth and self-esteem.

According to ET, during an episode of Raquelle Stevens’ Giving Back Generation, Selena explained to the host that the “mocking” affected her psyche in a big way. The singer-songwriter added that it “really messed” her up for a while.

Moreover, back in 2014, the 27-year-old revealed she was diagnosed with lupus, which was a disease that attacks the immune system. And this wasn’t the only health issue she fought through either, as she also had to get a kidney transplant three years later in 2017 as a consequence of the condition.

Gomez explained that she has to take a varying level of medications for the rest of her life, many of which end up having an adverse effect on her body and weight. Gomez claims she really noticed when people online began criticizing her for her change in body size and shape.

Four years ago, Gomez had to enter a rehabilitation facility due to persistent body-shaming. Selena, who was 23-years-old at the time, claims that on occasion, she would land at the airport and people would yell at her that she was fat.

Gomez admitted her use of social media these days has changed a lot on account of the neverending criticism and body-shaming, which she describes as being pervasive on the platforms. The singer added that she doesn’t bother showing herself off to everyone all of the time.

There’s no question Gomez has encountered her own batch of problems in the past, including her lupus diagnosis, in addition to her kidney transplant, social media criticism, as well as her entrance into several mental health programs.

Furthermore, last year, fans online became entirely convinced that the singer-songwriter entered a wellness center due to the marriage between Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber. It was one month after Justin and Hailey obtained a marriage license secretly in September of 2018.

Finally! Disney fans have been waiting for a while to find out who is going to portray prince Eric in the live-action remake of the beloved Little Mermaid movie and now we know!

As it turns out, he is not a prince in real life but he is a king – Jonah Hauer-King – to be precise!

That’s right! The charming and handsome newcomer is the one to play Princess Ariel’s love interest in the Little Mermaid remake.

This comes after many reports that former One Direction band member Harry Styles was offered the part but he decided to turn it down.

Back in September, the singer explained his choice to skip the project which has also found its Ariel – Halle Bailey!

Chatting with The Face, Harry confirmed that ‘It was discussed [that he’d play Prince Eric.] [However] I want to put music out and focus on that for a while. But everyone involved in it was amazing, so I think it’s going to be great. I’ll enjoy watching it, I’m sure.’

His fans were a bit disappointed but if he’s going to release new music for them, it’s still a great thing.

This time around, the Disney fans just won the 24 year old Hauer-King since he already looks perfect for the role.

Reports say that at this point, he’s had two screen tests, the newest happening with director Rob Marshall in London on November 9.

With that being said, the rest of the cast lineup at this point is as follows: Daveed Diggs will be playing Sebastian, Javier Bardem is Ariel’s dad, King Triton, and Melissa McCarthy is set to portray the villain – Ursula.
