Gamers Can Now Take A Trip Through Amid’s Evil’s Early Days WithWith Free Ancient Alphas DLC

Amid Evil, which was one of the best first-person retro shooter games, had gone through a long way across several tweaks and development before it got finally launched. Now, avid fans have the opportunity to experience how the retro shooter used to look like in its early days with the game’s latest free downloadable content known as Ancient Alphas.

New Zealand company called Indefatigable developed Amid Evil, which is released by New Blood Interactive. The game’s theme revolves around a dark fantasy with action-oriented gameplay and a retro-style graphics.

In the game, players take upon the challenge to save seven distinct worlds from seven evils, with magic and seven different weapons at hand. The game comes with a structure of levels advancement, which is similar to most FPS games during the era.

With Doom Eternal taking its time hitting the market, plenty of indie game developers took on the job to satiate FPS avid gamers. They either released free downloadable content or offered early access builds. Following along the trend, indie developer Indefatigable joined in the fun and launched a free DLC for its popular shooter game, Amid Evil, which was is called the Ancient Alphas.

Ancient Alpha contains some early alpha phase of the game before changes are made for its final release, which was from 2016 to 2017. It allows gamers to play through the areas that did not make it through for the last game. They can also explore various versions of the Aeturnum BFG, discover other alternate visuals on certain levels, and become immersed in the whole trip that the game goes through up until its final launch.

Moreover, gamers will get five distinct builds that allow them to tinker with the previous model of the current guns and discover several layouts to levels that successfully made it until the final round. All in all, gamers get to take a peek, if not get immersed, into the developmental stages behind the making of their favorite game., something that might only be now identifiable as a part of the history.

With all is said and done, the game’s journey is, without a doubt, not yet over. Its developers shared one screenshot that shows how the game will look like if the ray-tracing feature is available. Similar to the Minecraft game before it, the difference is truly remarkable. As to when gamers can finally play the game with ray-tracing, the only statement that the game’s developer divulge is “soon.”

Microsoft Thinking Of Rolling Out Exclusive Titles For Its Project xCloud Gaming Service

Microsoft is mulling to roll out exclusive games for its Project xCloud gaming service.

During the X019 event, Kareem Choudhry, Microsoft Cloud VP, said that they are initially talking with third-party developers. At this point, however, it is just exploratory. They could not make any official announcements yet until the deal is ironed out.

He said that new content would take about 18 months up to two years to develop fully. And they are more interested now in porting games to the cloud because they want to offer more content.

With this strategy, they can offer about 3,000 titles to the cloud gaming service.

Project xCloud is the brand of Microsoft’s cloud gaming service, which also links with Xbox One and Project Scarlett. Under the platform, all the games will be hosted by powerful servers. The gameplay videos will then be streamed to the compatible devices over the cloud. Whether you are playing on your TV, smartphone, or tablet, it seems like you are playing on the device itself.

The service is similar to Google Stadia, which recently had its release, and the much-older platform, PlayStation Now. What Microsoft is leveraging on for Project xCloud is the over 3,000 games on PC and Xbox.

Another advantage of xCloud is the Azure network, which is one of the largest in the world. This means that you will be playing at a local server rather than a server from halfway around the world. It will drastically reduce, if not eliminate, latency, and improve online gaming like no other.

Meanwhile, Choudry explained that the APIs have been added to the Xbox Development Kit. This will allow the device to determine if the game is being streamed at runtime or not. The API will make it easier for developers to make any changes in the streaming technology. For instance, they can change the network code or as simple as the font size.

For now, Project xCloud is still being tested in South Korea, the UK, and the US. Next year, the service will be going to Japan, Canada, and India, as well as Western Europe. Also, in 2020, the service will also be rolled out to Windows 10 computers. But Microsoft is not stopping there is it is in talks to deliver the service to other devices, as well.

There is no official release date yet for Project xCloud. However, gamers can expect to play the whole library of Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles when it launches.

One Netbook To Release Its Handheld Gaming PC Device Called One-GX Next Summer

Several months ago, One Netbook, the Chinese mini PC creator that has been producing several nifty minicomputers over the past year and a half, released an advert that seems to show that the company is likely to enter into the handheld gaming PC market. Recently, the company announced its plan to launch this handheld device next year.

One Netbook’s upcoming handheld PC gaming device is called One-GX. It is a 7-inch gaming device integrated with a processor such as Intel Tiger Lake and comes with a detachable game controller. At present, the company has yet to reveal any pictures of this upcoming device, except for one vague promo image that shows a pair of hands clasping onto an invisible controller.

The handheld device’s detachable controllers sound quite similar to that of the Nintendo Switch, which is powered by Windows. One significant difference between these two controllers is that the former is expected to be a wholly developed mini-laptop device that comes with a QWERTY keyboard. Thus, gamers can easily detach the controllers and use them just like a mobile computer. Players also have the option to use the cordless controllers for single or multi-player gameplay. It is similar to that of the Switch.

The ITMedia reported that the device would have one attractive design option, which is the clamshell laptop style. Nevertheless, the design style makes it impossible for gamers to flip the device’s screen around or use them as a tablet. When players connect the controllers, the overall look will become like a mini laptop that has controllers on the sides.

The upcoming handheld controller’s most prominent competitor would probably be the GPD Win line, a Window-based handheld computer device featuring a built-in game controller and keyboard. The original versions of this product line, GPD Win and Win 2, have smaller keyboards and screens, which is quite impossible for touch-typing.

A Japanese site called PC Watch interviewed the president and vice-president of One Notebook. The company’s representatives revealed that the upcoming gaming device would be shipped next year during the summer season.

Further, they divulged the reasons as to why the company opted for Intel’s forthcoming chips, the Tiger Lake. One of the reasons was the performance of the chips. Tiger Lake processors perform much better than the Ice Lake chips with considerably lower levels of power. Another reason was that Ice Lake processors are currently not widely available.

The upcoming device’s other features include a battery of 10,000 mAh and a unique 2.4 GHz band the is used to connect the controllers to the PC.

CD Projekt Red Still Mulling Over Monetary Scheme For Multiplayer In Cyberpunk 2077

One of the most anticipated games of 2020 is Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. It has garnered a lot of attention ever since an extended clip of gameplay surfaced a while back, showing futuristic settings and limitless possibilities for your created character.

We know that multiplayer will not be available at launch, but it is coming down the pipe eventually. Like most online multiplayer modes, there’s the question of monetary compensation. So many developers today include microtransactions in the online portion of their game as to continually make money. You can’t blame them for their tactics. It’s a sound way of keeping the revenue stream going well after a game has released.

Will Cyberpunk 2077 have them in its online portion? That’s still up for debate according to president of CD Projekt Red, Adam Kicinski. In a recent investors call, he talked a little bit about the monetary scheme in question. He wouldn’t confirm the inclusion of microtransactions — though — as it’s a little too early to lean on one side or the other.

This will be CD Projekt Red’s first multiplayer game, so it makes sense that they would cautiously plan out these sort of economics. It would make complete sense for them to add some sort of monetary scheme, though. Developers deserve to get paid for their effort, and judging by the sheer amount of details in Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red is putting in the overtime.

If they do decide to include such a scheme, they need to be strategic. For instance, they could charge extra for more character customizations. Players of RPGs have always enjoyed decking out their character exactly how they see fit. A little money for more cosmetic gear doesn’t sound too bad on paper.

It’s the pay to win scheme that CD Projekt Red will need to shy away from in their upcoming RPG. These schemes make people pay money to gain an edge on other players, and many developers have received negative backlash for such efforts.

Fortunately, CD Projekt Red doesn’t seem like a studio that would take advantage of gamers’ wallets just to earn a greater profit. They’ve said it time and time again that this game is a passion project for them. So far, this seems to be true based on all of the content that’s being put into Cyberpunk 2077.

Hopefully, as we draw closer to April, we learn a little bit more about this game’s multiplayer and its monetary design.

T.I. Says He Was Only ‘Joking’ About Monitoring Daughter Deyjah’s Virginity … Sort Of!

The rapper and actor has been in some serious hot water over his admittance that he goes with his oldest daughter, 18 year old Deyjah Harris to the gynecologist to check her virginity ever year! However, while on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk, T.I. claimed that he was only joking about it – more or less.

TIP explained to the host that people have been pushing a ‘false narrative’ taking what he meant totally out of context.

In case you haven’t heard about ‘HymenGate’ T.I. was on the Ladies Like Us podcast when he told that he goes to the gyno with his teen daughter every single year to make sure she is still a virgin.

Now, he claims that ‘It was a conversation I was having in a very joking matter. I began to embellish and exaggerate, and I think people took it too literally. I never said I was in any exam room. Never said it was being done present day as an 18-year-old. Never said that [Deyjah’s] mother (Ms. Niko) wasn’t present. She was there every time. All of these things… it’s a false narrative.’

That is pretty different from what he originally said on the podcast: ‘Not only have we had the conversation. We have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen. Yes, I go with her. So we’ll go and sit down and the doctor comes and talk, and the doctor is like, ‘You know, sir, I have to, in order to share information’ — I’m like, ‘Deyjah, they want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you would not want me to know? See, Doc? Ain’t no problem.’’

The rapper definitely made it sound like he still does that in the present but his wife, Tiny Harris went on to tell Jada that he hasn’t been with Deyjah to the gynecologist since she was 15 or 16.

The 70-year-old explained that she started taking estrogen in the 1980s which caused her to grow breasts, and when she met Kris she “had a little 36/38B.” However, she decided to have her breasts removed because she was “so confused” in her life.

A post shared by Caitlyn Jenner (@caitlynjenner) on Nov 22, 2019 at 6:46am PST

“And then the second time round 25 years later I was back on estrogen obviously and they came back some but not much. So I really had to have them done so it is kind of past the point of no return,” said Caitlyn.

When Jossa asked the Olympic gold medalist about surgeries, Caitlyn said she had a lot over many, many years, but near the end it went quickly because “you can do your face and your chest at the same time, which they did.”

Caitlyn also talked about coming out as a woman with her iconic Vanity Fair cover in 2015, and she called it a “big FU” to the millions and millions of critics who had said “terrible things” about her. And, when the cover came out “it just shocked them.” She went on to talk about how big the Vanity Fair moment was for her, as well as the impact it had on social media.

She said that transitioning and trying to make an impact on social media is “extraordinarily important.” And, as soon as the Vanity Fair cover came out, it broke the world record for the fastest to one million followers on Twitter, achieving the mark in just four hours and one minute.

Jossa expressed her admiration for Caitlyn, saying that she loves the fact that Caitlyn talks so openly and feels like she can trust her campmates.

“Like everybody goes through something… The amount of strength that woman has is amazing,” said Jossa.

In a previous episode, Caitlyn – who was once known as Bruce – explained that her kids still call her “dad” because she will always be their father. And, her grandchildren call her “Boom Boom” to avoid gendered titles.

She said of her children, “Bruce raised them and Caitlyn is enjoying their life with them.”

New episodes of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! air nightly on ITV in the UK.
