The Biostar M700 SSD is the result of a cautious business model. When the company decided to enter the SSD market several years ago, it had realistic goals. The company knew it was facing stiff competition from industry players, prompting it to offer low-cost SATA drives.

As expected, market forces eventually took over. And when this happens, everyone benefits. The prices of 3D TLC NAND memory and PCIe SSD controllers started to go down. This situation enabled companies to produce cheaper, entry-level PCIe drives.

Biostar was among those who took advantage of this price drop and used the opportunity to capitalize on the trend. This week, the company finally rolled out the Biostar M700 SSD, which is geared towards the more budget-conscious users.

The solid-state drives are the first PCLE 3.0 x4 drives to be manufactured by the company. The SSD is patterned mainly after the Silicon Motion’s DRAM-less SM2263XT controller. Due to its affordability, the SSD has been described as a PCLe drive with a SATA SSD price.

This low-priced SSD has been primarily designed for users making entry-level builds. The Biostar M700 SSD has two variants; the 256 GB or 512 GB, which also come with usable 3D TLC NAND flash memory.

Moreover, the SSD also includes other features such as NVMe 1.3a protocol, AES256 encryption, and end-to-end data protection. The drive is also equipped with an M.2-2280 form-factor sans a heat spread to ensure compatibility with laptops.

The release of the latest solid-state drive is part of Biostar’s aggressive efforts to reach a broader market segment. It is the result of innovation, leading to the creation of the company’s fastest storage product.

The Biostar M700 SSD may not be able to go head-to-head with the fastest NVMe SSDs. But this should not be much of a cause for concern. Some of the best gaming SSDs still belong to the older SATA 6Gbps variants.

However, professional gamers might find the M700 SSD a little slow. Compared to the NVMeSSDs, the M700 does not offer blazing speeds. But as they say, speed does not always translate to a perfect gaming experience.

The performance of the M700 SSD depends on the capacity. The higher 512GB model is faster, with sequential writes of 1,600MB/s and sequential reads of up to 2,000MB/s. For the 256GB variant, speeds can go down to 1,850MB/s on the read side.

To date, everyone is still guessing how much the Biostar M700 SSDs will be priced. However, these solid-state drives are anticipated to give the competition a run for their money. Consumers will know once the Black Friday season kicks off.

There was some legitimately massive news in October for Heroes of the Storm. The introduction of the ultimate antagonist, Deathwing, was made, and he is finally playable via Public Test Realm (PTR.)

Known as many names like the Aspect of Death, Destroyer, or appropriately, World Breaker, Deathwing is a fantastic playable character joining the Nexus.

He has just been launched in the Heroes of the Storm PTR, and he is already living up to his destructive nature.

He is the official Spotlight video of Deathwing released by the Heroes of the Storm’s developers.

The video highlights the strengths and weaknesses of Deathwing. His strengths include being permanently unstoppable, delivering powerful area damage, and efficient crowd control.

However, because of this seemingly overpowered dragon, there are checks and balances.
Deathwing is unaffected by allied abilities, including healing and buffs, so when he is damaged heavily, he must fly away and leave the battle to heal up. He also faces a weakness to Poke and % – Based Damage.

With Deathwing just entering the PTR, players will be able to try him out and test out the balancing. This will give the developers a good indication of what works with Deathwing, and what doesn’t.

The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm antagonist will be fighting in style, with a few unlockable skins. The Destroyer is Deathwing’s base skin and features the all too familiar armor-plated, gothic, fire-infused look.

Heroes of the Storm players will receive the Savage Deathwing skin when he is unlocked. And players can also unlock other skins, each costing 120 Gems or 112 Shards. These skins are called Glorious Deathwing, Iron Deathwing, and Tyrannical Deathwing.

Deathwing’s abilities do not disappoint, as he can fight in one of two modes, Destroyer or Worldbreaker.

Deathwing’s Trait (Passive) ability is The Aspect of Death – Deathwing is granted Armor as he is covered in Adamantium Armor Plates. He also deals double the damage to heroes, and as mentioned earlier, he is unstoppable but not able to receive healing or buffs
by teammates.
He features a Mount ability called Dragonflight (Z,) which uses no Energy, and is subject to a 45-second cooldown.

Deathwing will become airborne, and after 3 seconds, he becomes immune to all enemy effects and will start healing 2.5 percent of his maximum health every second. Dragonflight cannot be used 4 seconds after a basic attacking, taking damage, or casting an ability. Once it is cast, it cannot be interrupted.

Deathwing must be in the air for at least 8 seconds, and then he can then fly back into battle by channeling a 1.75-second cast. Players will choose either his Destroyer or Worldbreaker mode, and he will deal 75 damage to enemies in the vicinity of where he lands (must be near allies.) Abilities are then subject to a 3-second cooldown.

Destroyer has two basic abilities for each of his forms, as well as one ability that can be used in any form, and of course a Heroic ability.

Deathwing Has Arrived On The Heroes Of The Storm PTR With Savage Skins And Earth Shattering Attacks

The Real Housewives of Atlanta diva Porsha Williams made it clear she gets fierce when people comment on her private life when she jumped on the co-hostess of The Real,” Loni Love, after the latest episode of the show aired.

Tamar Braxton made sure to post a few “looking you” emojis. Loni discussed the relationship between Porsha and her fiancée, Dennis McKinley, with one of the other co-hosts of the show, Adrienne Ballon.

The celebrity couple made the news earlier this year when they separated in June but got back together after a few weeks.

The supposed reason for the split was the ongoing rumor that Dennis was unfaithful to Porsha, who gave birth to a baby daughter in March.

During the episode, the 36-year-old Adrienne stated that even though she was not trying to be judgmental about Porsha’s decisions in life, she still did not understand them.

Adrienne’s co-hostess replied that the reality star was trying to get that show.

The singer said: “I couldn’t do it, but I’m not going to judge someone else for the way they choose to live their life or decisions she’s going to make. I don’t understand it.”

Loni quickly tried to fix the situation by commenting that she did not mean anything bad when she said those things and that her statement was a light-hearted one.

The co-cost also expressed a hope that Porsha gets the show. The words exchange between the Loni and Porsha sparked a heated discussion between the followers of the two, as some said Loni was a hater, and others insisted that Porsha should take down the footage.

Since then, it seems that Porsha accepted the explanation and deleted her post from Instagram and is now focusing on her baby daughter, Pilar Jhena.

She posted a few sweet photos, and one fan told her:

“I remember enjoying my daughter like that when she was a baby. She’s 29 years old now and still my baby. Enjoy your time with her, and keep cherishing the moments. They grow up so fast.”

Following their joint Senorita performance at the American Music Awards, Shawn Mendes could not help but gush over his girlfriend, saying that she was ‘unbelievable!’ Of course, the audience was able to see it all for themselves but the view from right there beside her must have been even better when it comes to observing the talent and beauty Camila possesses.

And, of course, the fact that he is in love with her might have something to do with his opinion of her performance as well – just a little bit, of course!

Last year, Intel filed a patent for a video game controller that dubiously looked like that of an OnLive game device. Recently, this patent became published, which gave gamers an idea of what the company has been working for streaming game services.

The company’s patent on the game device is not particularly thrilling. The peculiar thing about this patent is that it is somewhat vague and does not provide much information on the functionality of the game controller, which is quite different from most patents that typically contain several pages detailing the device’s description and usage.

The only thing that the patent revealed is that of the device’s reference design, which includes the buttons and chassis of the controller. This design strongly shows the device’s production that focuses on gaming and multimedia.

At the top of the controller is a DualShock touchpad while on its bottom lies the buttons for multimedia that surprisingly look very much like the OnLive’s controller and Astro’s C40 TR. Its design is not significantly ergonomic and resembles that of the dated TV controller for the Nvidia Shield.

On the device’s right and left touchpad, there are also two small oval buttons, which are most probably the buttons for “start” and “select.” The controller also featured a port for the micro USB connection, which is at the top of the device.

Moreover, a round button can be found in the middle of the controller and between the analog sticks, which is where the logo will be placed. Below this button lies three more buttons that are perhaps for multimedia, pause, as well as fast-forward.

Currently, the company has been mostly focusing on making hardware and has not yet revealed any plans on creating its platform for cloud gaming services. Instead, the company will utilize the patent for Iris Pro and Xeon processors to power-up the latest cloud gaming service by Tencent, which is known as Start, for the China market.

The streaming service of Tencent is similar to Google’s Stadia that aims to make gaming possible in any device. The controller will probably have the same feature as Stadia and can connect to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, as well as television top box.

Back in November 2018, which was several months after the patent got filed, Intel and Tencent have revealed their cloud partnership. The controller will probably use the said cloud service that should become directly connected to the Tencent’s streaming platform ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the final products do not always end up in stores. Whether or not the controller will become released to the Chinese market is still a mystery that gamers may need to wait and see patiently.

Leaks hit Twitter recently that Activision will be creating a remake of one of their many skating games. Which exact game is getting the remake is unknown, but given that Activision has released over a dozen Tony Hawk games, they won’t be hurting for material to pick from.

The rumors come compliments of Twitter user @New_WabiSabi. While this doesn’t sound too credible on the surface, the user is a journalist for gaming news outlets NintendoSoup and Spiel Times. Additionally, their Twitter bio declares themselves to be “one of the most trusted and reliable rumor sources in the industry.” Given that this is a self-given title on an anonymous social media account, that’s probably not too accurate, but they’ve got a pretty decent track record so far!

So about that Activision remake that had some work done I mentioned a week or two ago…

So what game would Activision be remaking, if the rumors are true? Again, the Tony Hawk series spans over a dozen games, from as early as 1999 to as recently as 2018 with Tony Hawk’s Skate Jam. Their games have gone from consoles like the Dreamcast and N-Gage to being ported to PC. As far as skating games go, it’s unarguably the titan among the industry.

If you’re aiming for a dark horse, though, there’s always Activision’s 1987 Atari 2600 game, Skate Boardin’! The game was one of the first skateboarding-based video games, had a sequel in 1988, and was even re-released in 2002 as an addition to the Activision Anthology collection! Of course, there’s always Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure.

Jokes aside, the most likely remaster that Activision would release is probably going to be part of the Tony Hawk franchise. Strong candidates are Tony Hawk Underground 2, or one of the many Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games.

The fact of the matter is that Activision is arguably the biggest publisher in the world. They have the unspeakably massive Call of Duty franchise, have been pushing out Crash Bandicoot remakes, and have all but commandeered Blizzard at this point. They have the resources to remaster any game that they want, and when it comes to skating games, they have an almost alarmingly large library spanning nearly two decades to pick from.

Until we have something confirmed from Activision, the rumors will remain rumors. Sabi’s tweet isn’t the only thing claiming that Activision is working on this remaster, though. Even Kotaku mentioned the Tony Hawk series as one of the handfuls of IPs that Activision has left to their name, with much of their early work being licensed content. Whatever skating game appears, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Joycelyn Savage, mostly known as being one of R&B star R. Kelly’s girlfriends, switched sides and made a lengthy confession about how she was manipulated and controlled by the 52-year-old music star.

The 24-year-old created her Patreon page, and in her first post, she talked about her experience with Kelly.

According to Savage, she met Kelly when she was 19, and she agreed to become his girlfriend in exchange for presents, cash, luxurious vacations, and an opportunity for a music career.

However, the singer’s behavior soon changed for the worse as he started to require for Savage to call him “Daddy” or “Master” when speaking to him.

Since its launch on Nov. 19, Google Stadia has encountered a few hiccups. But it drives home the point that PlayStation 4 users need not get on the bandwagon right away.

In fact, the PS4 has Remote Play service, which works much like Stadia, although without its luster. The service allows you to play your game from the console to the smartphone, tablet, and PC. Here is a video showing how to connect your PS4 controller with the iPad or iPhone.

The service was first introduced in PlayStation 3 and was brought over to PlayStation 4 in 2014. Two years later, the service received Mac and PC support. Credit to Sony for not continuing to develop the technology even though not too many gamers are using it.

When Google Stadia was finally released on Nov. 19, gamers could hardly wait to get their hands on it. After all, the service has so much potential. You can play on your console, turn it off, and then resume your gameplay on your smartphone or tablet. You can play games at high resolutions (4K, in fact) without needing to purchase a console or a new PC.

However, the launch only served to confirm most gamers’ fears: Stadia is not ready for prime time yet. The problem seems to be on the part of the developers, instead of the technology itself. When conditions are optimum, Stadia can stream games at 4K resolution and 60 FPS.
But, in the case of Destiny 2, for instance, Bungie admitted that they could only render the game at 1080p resolution.

Also, those who tried Stadia complained about the stutters that occur every few seconds. They are more than annoying and even destroying gameplay.

Until Google and game developers get their acts together, PS4 owners are much better served to use Remote Play instead. Early this year, Sony released PS4 firmware update 7.00, which opens the service to Android devices. Before, it was only available to Sony Xperia smartphones. It also released an update to make Remote Play compatible with Apple devices.

You can connect your PS4 Dualshock 4 wireless controllers to other platforms through Bluetooth. You can use the service as long as you have a decent WiFi speed at home or elsewhere. You still need your console and the PlayStation 4 games to play Remote Play. But it is a small price to pay for convenience. The best thing is that Remote Play is free, unlike Google Stadia, where you need to fork over $100.
