Is Gigi Hadid going back to her ex, Zayn Malik after her hot romance with Tyler Cameron came to an end?  According to a new report, the supermodel is now back ‘in touch’ with the ex-One Direction member.

After all, the singer ‘has always had a soft spot’ in the model’s heart so another reunion between the two is not impossible.

As fans know, the two have been through a couple of reunions so aren’t they already aware they don’t work together?

Apparently, it’s not that simple and one source tells E! News that Gigi is ‘reconnecting’ with Zayn at this time.

The insider told the news outlet the Hadid sister ‘has always had a soft spot for Zayn [Malik] and they have a lot of history together.’

Indeed, the two were romantically linked for the first time back in 2015, around this time.

In early 2016, their relationship was confirmed when the model appeared in Zayn’s very intimate music video for PILLOWTALK.

While it seemed to be going great between them for the following couple of years, in March of last year, they announced their split on social media.

Not too long after however, they sparked rumors that they were back together.

Regardless, it did not last long and at the beginning of this year, they were once again separated.

But now, the source explains that ‘They went through a phase when they took time apart and were not communicating at all, but they’ve been in touch recently. She’s supportive of him. They chat here and there but it has been casual.’

This comes after Gigi’s public romance with Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron, who even reportedly refused to be the next Bachelor because he was already dating Gigi at the time.

According to a report from CBSNews.com, Charles Barkley, the former NBA player, and TNT analyst said sorry to the reporter after he told her that he would hit her if he was the type of guy who hits women. The conversation all started as a political discussion, however, it took an interesting turn.

Reportedly, the journalist asked him about which candidate he supported. Alexi McCammmond is currently reporting on the 2020 presidential election for the company, Axios, and she took to her Twitter on Tuesday night to tweet about the incident in question.

Allegedly, McCammond was having a conversation with the basketball player, and he told her he was supporting the Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick, who just started his campaign. The conversation was off-the-record, a common type of reporting in which journalists gather information.

She then started talking about the fact Charles purportedly changed his mind about which candidate he supported after speaking with an aide to Pete Buttigieg. Charles said he “loved” talking with him. You can check out the reporter’s tweet below:

Through her Twitter post, there’s no question Alexi didn’t like the joke. After she became upset, he told her she “couldn’t take a joke.” She went on to cite statistics regarding women who are abused.

In a statement to CBS News, Charles rescinded on his comments, stating they weren’t funny and were “inappropriate and unacceptable.” On Twitter, McCammond added threatening people with violence was never funny.

McCammond added in her Twitter post that it perpetuated a “culture of misogyny.” Coincidentally, this wasn’t the first time Barkley has joked about domestic violence.

Barkley was criticized for making jokes about domestic violence in the past, including in 1990. After a game one evening, Barkley joked that basketball was the type of game where if you lost, you’d go home and “beat your wife and kids.” Barkley joked with reporters that the reason why his wife was jumping and down at the end of the game is that she knew he wasn’t going to come home and beat her.

That being said, the perfect actress to portray the iconic slave-turned-abolitionist has been discussed many times.

That being said, the screenwriter just revealed that during such a discussion, execs suggested none other than Julia Roberts for the role! What?

As you can imagine, social media is equal parts confused and outraged and users did not hesitate to react to the absurd reveal online.

Earlier this month, the Harriet biopic was released with Cynthia Erivo as the titular character.

However, screenwriter and producer, Gregory Allen Howard just dished during a Q&A that back in 1994 when he started working on the production, one studio executive suggested Julia Roberts for the role!

Yes, you heard that right! A white actress playing the famous BLACK slave abolitionist!

Howard recalled that ‘The climate in Hollywood was very different back then. I was told that one studio head said in a meeting, ‘This script’s fantastic. Let’s get Julia Roberts to play Harriet Tubman.’ When somebody pointed out Roberts could not be Harriet, the exec responded, ‘It was very long ago. No one’s going to know the difference.’

Fortunately, they did not go with that option and it took another 25 years or so to finally make the movie.

The Todd Phillips-directed Joker has already set box office records as the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time as it just passed the $1 billion mark, and it also had the biggest opening weekend ever for a movie released in October. Now, Joaquin Phoenix’s performance as the titular character is generating some serious Oscar buzz, and a new report claims that a sequel is already in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros already had sequel options in place for the actor ahead of the film’s massive success. And now, the studio is negotiating with Phillips for him to return to direct the Joker sequel. But, there are conflicting reports about Warner Bros. already having sequel options in place with Phoenix.

The sequel talk did start before the film was even released. When Phoenix and Phillips were doing their press tour ahead of the premiere, the question of a sequel came up more often than not. And, Phoenix also revealed that he brought up the topic on the set when they were making the film.

“Long before the release or before we had any idea if it would be successful, we talked about sequels,” Phoenix told the Los Angeles Times. “In the second or third week of shooting, I was like, ‘Todd, can you start working on a sequel? There’s way too much to explore.’ It was kind of in jest — but not really.”

If there is a sequel, it won’t include a Batman storyline since Matt Reeves is already tackling that in his upcoming film The Batman, which will star Robert Pattinson and is scheduled for a June 2021 release.

Instead, the plot will most likely explore more of Arthur Fleck’s story – just as Phoenix suggested – because not only has that proved to be a winning box office formula, but a character study as opposed to a CGI-filled action movie is much more profitable.

Warner Bros. gave Phillips a $60 million budget for Joker, which is just pennies compared to what they invested in Aquaman and The Dark Knight, not to mention the hundreds of millions of dollars Marvel has invested in their cinematic universe.

Both critics and fans have praised Phoenix’s performance in Joker, and the Oscar buzz is all over social media. The 44-year-old has been nominated three times before for his roles in Gladiator, Walk the Line, and The Master, but he has surprisingly never won.

This could be Phoenix’s year, but he will have some serious competition, which could possibly include Adam Driver and his performance in Marriage Story, Leonardo DiCaprio in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and Robert De Niro in The Irishman.

Oscar nominations will be announced on January 13th, and the 92nd Annual Academy Awards will take place on February 9th.
