It seems that congratulations are in order for rapper Nicki Minaj! The Shade Room reveals that Young Money just said that Nicki is the very first artist in history to have hit number 1 in all of Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B, Pop, Dance/Electric, Raggae, Gospel and Latin charts.

People were happy for the queen, and the Barbz made sure to praise her. On the other hand, some other followers seemed shocked that Nicki is associated with gospel.

Someone said: ‘The Undisputed Queen! 👸🏽👩🏽‍🎤🦄💝 Musical Versatility At it’s best! 🙌🏾’ and another follower posted this: ‘And there are bitter people in the comment section who STILL can’t clap for her smh.’

One other commenter said: ‘And That’s What You Call A Queen WITHOUT a Grammy 💯’and another fan wrote: ‘Congratulations to her … but I’m still waiting to hear the gospel n reggae number 1 hit !!! 😂’

Someone else also threw shade over the rapper and wrote this: ‘I stopped liking her when she became a hater. She still a clown to me. I love her music, but I dislike her.’

A fan addressed people who did not know that Nicki sings gospel as well: ‘Why are people mad she has a gospel song? Why are people upset at this Versatile Queen?! Well, never get another! ❤️’

Another Instagrammer praised Nicki as well and said: ‘That’s lit on so many different levels 🔥…. she still seems like she a cornball in real life tho.’

Other than this, Nicki is living her best life together with Kenneth Petty, whom she married recently.

The Grammy Award nominations were released on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, and the nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance were announced. In 2011, the Grammy’s did away with the best female and best male pop artist but for the 2020 nominees, history was made. The five nominees for Best Pop Solo Performance are all women. The 2020 Grammy Awards have been extremely favorable to new artists Lizzo and Billie Eilish and they will be battling it out for the top prize against established Grammy winners Beyonce and Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande who won her first Grammy last year.

Beyonce has an incredible 70 Grammy nominations and 23 wins. Taylor Swift follows with 35 nominations and 10 wins. Ariana Grande has 11 nominations and 1 win. With the nominations being handed down on Wednesday, Lizzo now has 8 Grammy nominations and Billie Eilish follows with 6 nominations.

This is going to be a close award season and many of Beyonce’s fans from they Beyhive are already letting people know on social media they believe Queen Bey should win this one.

It’s hard to predict who is going to win this one but that hasn’t slowed down social media users from trying. Beyonce is undoubtedly the artist with the most longevity and she has been nominated for four Grammys in 2020.

Billie Eilish and Lizzo have taken the music scene by storm and have left their mark on it forever. It’s unclear to see how Billie Eilish and Lizzo will hold up when competing against each other. They square off in multiple categories together, as does Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande hasn’t won many Grammys, and she seemed genuinely surprised and honored to be nominated for her work on Thank U, Next.

Taylor Swift comes in with four Grammy nominations for her new album Lover. Seeing Beyonce and Taylor Swift nominated again in the same category may give some music fans a bit of deja vu. Hopefully, now that Kanye West has undergone a spiritual conversion, Taylor will be safe should she win.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge’s husband Eddie has found himself under fire from fans after he made comments about Tamra’s son Ryan Vieth on a recent episode that some viewed as insensitive. But Eddie isn’t keeping quiet and has instead fired back, telling fans that the show is fake and fans need to back off.

According to The Blast, a number of RHOC fans were disgusted after a recent episode that featured Tamra talking about Ryan going to therapy, and she expressed her concern that Ryan could be suicidal.

Tamra revealed that she went to therapy with Ryan, and she told Eddie that she was struggling emotionally because it was hard to hear Ryan’s negative feelings about himself. She said she feels like she has failed her son, who she gave birth to when she was just 17 years old.

“It just makes me want to die,” said Tamra. “I struggled with depression, I was sad, I had no self-worth. To hear Ryan say that, it scares me. I worry that one day Ryan might commit suicide. That’s my biggest fear.”

But, after Tamra told Eddie about what went down in therapy with Ryan, Eddie said in his confessional that when you’re struggling with childhood issues as a man, you’re not a man, and that infuriated fans, who immediately went to social media to express their disgust with his supposedly insensitive comment.

Some fans called Eddie “cruel” and “careless,” while others called him a “douche” who lacked empathy.

In response, Eddie posted a statement on his Instagram Story telling fans that they need to understand that the show isn’t real, and they need to back off.

“Time to move on… just because you see it on TV doesn’t mean it’s real!” wrote Eddie. “I’m happy most of you understand this and those that do not, you need to learn how it works. Reality TV is not Reality. These shows are designed to get maximum reaction from the viewers.”

Eddie went on to compare reality shows to scripted shows, saying that there are writers and scripts for reality TV shows. He pointed out that people don’t go after villains on scripted shows and call them names because someone wrote a script, and he believes fans should have the same approach to reality TV.

“I stand behind what I said and never did I say that people with a mental illness need to man up. I understand mental illness. I also understand when someone uses mental illness as a scapegoat,” said Eddie.

He also said that Ryan is not mentally ill, but he is struggling with life. Eddie noted that you don’t have to be mentally ill to feel depressed, but a reality TV show will figure out how to get max reaction by editing a touching moment in such a way to get viewers to keep watching.

“If they do not, then we have no show. Get it? The end!” wrote Eddie.

Former Empire star Jussie Smollett has fired back at the City of Chicago and filed his own countersuit with claims of malicious prosecution after a federal judge allowed their lawsuit against him to continue. Smollett claims that the city has caused him “humiliation, mental anguish, and extreme emotional distress” after they accused him of falsely claiming that he was a victim of a hate crime.

The City of Chicago is suing Smollett in an attempt to get back the $130,000 they spent investigating his claim that he was attacked, which they say was a hoax. The city eventually brought charges against the actor, but he made a deal to get the charges dropped in exchange for community service and forfeiture of the $10,000 he paid to bond out of jail.

According to The Blast, Smollett’s counterclaim is against the City of Chicago, police detectives Michael Theis and Edward Wodnicki, Superintendent Eddie Johnson, and the Osundairo brothers, Abel and Ola.

Smollett’s lawyers claim in their filing that charges were brought against their client because the Osundairo brothers made “false, self-serving, and unreliable statements in order to close the investigation into the attack on Mr. Smollett.”

The counterclaim also points out that Smollett is innocent, and the case against him proves it because all 16 counts of the criminal indictment were dismissed just two and a half weeks after they filed charges.

As for that $130,000 the city wants back, Smollett’s claim argues that the court accepted the $10,000 bond forfeiture, and that was “payment in full in connection with the dismissal of the charges.”

The biggest target of Smollett’s lawsuit seems to be the Osundairo brothers, and how the Chicago PD relied on their story to bring charges against him, even though Smollett says their story was self-serving and unreliable, and they were making the statement against him to avoid criminal liability.

Smollett also claims that the police facilitated the false statements, and failed to follow protocol when they allowed Ola to be in the room when they questioned Abel. The actor’s legal team writes in their filing that officials “disregarded or ignored the facts” that showed their key evidence against Smollett was “demonstrably false.”

The counterclaim also goes after Superintendent Johnson’s, saying that he essentially convicted Smollett in the media with his statement to the press before the actor had his day in court.

Smollett also accuses the police of making false statements, leaking false information, and covering up evidence that supported the actor’s claim that two men had attacked and beaten him.

Jussie Smollett has maintained his innocence from day one and continues to claim that the attack against him was the real deal.
