Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd recently revealed that she is engaged to Fox News correspondent Rick Leventhal after a three-month whirlwind romance. And now, she says that her ex-husband Michael Dodd is “not happy” about the engagement.

Kelly told Us Weekly at the Guess Who, B*tch?! Game Night at Moxy Chelsea in New York City that things are “very contentious” right now because Michael “gets upset.” She added that he knows who Leventhal is, and he’s very mean about the entire situation. Kelly said that Michael’s nickname for her fiance is “Gonzo,” and when it comes down to it, “he’s not happy for me.”

“He [Michael] wants to come after me. He says, ‘I’m going to expose you,’” explained Kelly. “I’m like, ‘OK, go ahead, expose me.’ It’s already out there! Everything’s out there. There’s nothing you can say or do that I haven’t been exposed about.”

Kelly and Michael were married for ten years before they divorced in 2017. They share a 13-year-old daughter named Jolie, and Kelly says that Jolie’s reaction to her engagement was the exact opposite of her ex-husband’s.

Kelly said that her daughter is like her partner, and she is “so excited” about the upcoming wedding. Not only is Jolie a good kid, but Kelly says “she’s got it going on,” and she knows exactly what she needs to do to get to the next place.

Leventhal proposed to Kelly on Wednesday, November 13th, just three months after Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer introduced them. The proposal happened when they were on the terrace of Leventhal’s apartment that overlooks the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, and Kelly says Leventhal covered the terrace with flowers and there was also a fire. And, when he got down on one knee he told her that she was the love of his life.

Kelly feels great and is excited about the engagement, and she has no doubt that Leventhal is “the one.” Even though she was surprised by the proposal, she says she knew he was the one right away because there were “fireworks right off the bat.”

Kelly also revealed that Singer wants to be a bridesmaid at the wedding, and Dorinda Medley wants to officiate. And, her RHOC co-stars Emily Simpson and Braunwyn Windham-Burke are her “homegirls” who will most likely have some part in the wedding. However, when Kelly Dodd talks about the rest of the cast being involved in her big day, she said, “not so much.”

After Taylor Swift called on her fans and peers to stick up for her, Big Machine Records has responded to her claims that they tried to block her from singing her own songs at the American Music Awards and using past performances for an upcoming Netflix special. The company is cleverly denying it.

In a delicately worded statement, Big Machine claims that Taylor is creating a dangerous narrative that isn’t true and deflecting because she actually owes millions.

‘As Taylor Swift’s partner for over a decade, we were shocked to see her Tumblr statements yesterday based on false information. At no point did we say Taylor could not perform on the AMAs or block her Netflix special. In fact, we do not have the right to keep her from performing live anywhere. Since Taylor’s decision to leave Big Machine last fall, we have continued to honor all of her requests to license her catalog to third parties as she promotes her current record in which we do not financially participate,’ the statement started with.

It went on to say: ‘The truth is, Taylor has admitted to contractually owing millions of dollars and multiple assets to our company, which is responsible for 120 hardworking employees who helped build her career. We have worked diligently to have a conversation about these matters with Taylor and her team to productively move forward. We started to see progress over the past two weeks and were optimistic as recently as yesterday that this may get resolved. However, despite our persistent efforts to find a private and mutually satisfactory solution, Taylor made a unilateral decision last night to enlist her fanbase in a calculated manner that greatly affects the safety of our employees and their families.’

They ended the response by asking Swift to have a ‘direct and honest conversation.’

The pop star’s team has already clapped back.

Although Variety cannot verify the documents obtained to be true, there are some that show a message from the Vice President, Rights Management and Business Affairs  from Big Machine Label Group that talk about the restriction of Taylor’s contract while not agreeing to issue licenses.

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice spent 11 months in federal prison in 2015 after she and her husband Joe pleaded guilty to charges of bankruptcy fraud. And, she recently shared her thoughts about the prison time Full House star Lori Loughlin is facing in the Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal.

Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are facing years in prison if they are found guilty, but Giudice says that no matter what the outcome is in Loughlin’s case, she’s sure the actress will “make it through.”

“I feel women are strong. We have babies, we do it all. I’m sure whatever outcome it is, I’m sure she’ll be fine with it,” Giudice told Entertainment Tonight.

The 47-year-old understands why Loughlin took such extreme measures by allegedly paying $500,000 to get her two daughters into the University of Southern California. She says that Loughlin did it for her daughters – Olivia Jade and Bella – and they are grateful for what their mom did.

Giudice explained that Loughlin was looking out for her girls and trying to get them into a good school. And, she says Loughlin needs to be open with them no matter the outcome, and then deal with it and move forward.

Loughlin and Giannulli continue to plead not guilty in their case even though the charges continue to pile up. The charges now include bribery, money laundering, and fraud.

An insider says that Loughlin was considering making a plea deal with prosecutors, but she backed out because her husband insisted that they continue to fight. The source claims that Loughlin’s friends and family have encouraged her to make a deal – like Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman – but Loughlin is only listening to her husband.

A second source claims that Loughlin is “absolutely terrified and extremely vulnerable,” and the only hope is that she is acquitted of the charges. If she is found guilty, the hope is that the judge will realize how “completely overzealous” the government has been in their prosecution, and will give Loughlin a light prison sentence.

As for Teresa Giudice, she just returned to New Jersey after visiting her husband Joe in Italy.  Joe spent 36 months in prison and seven months in an ICE detention center before his release last month. He is still waiting for the final decision in his deportation case, and that is expected to come this month.
